Identifying innovative solutions to health challenges in sub-Saharan Africa

The Health Enterprise Fund, implemented by the USAID-funded SHOPS project, aims to uncover innovative and replicable solutions that address critical health priorities in sub-Saharan Africa—high rates of maternal and child mortality, unmet need for modern family planning methods, and lack of access to HIV/AIDS testing, care, and treatment services. The fund provides grants coupled with technical assistance to health enterprises addressing these health priorities in Kenya, Ethiopia, or Nigeria.
